This trip I am learning from my past mistakes – and am planning well ahead. One of my biggest traveling annoyances is food at airports. Typically, to get anything fresh – it involves a fruit bowl packaged who knows how many days ago or iceberg lettuce. I typically dull the hanger with this:
Yes, beer. Beer is my one ally when traveling through airports. Sadly, I made some crazy rule to not drink alcohol for the week leading up to Sunday. Honestly, what was I thinking? 🙂
Well – since I can not rely on beer’s assistance — I decided to take the grown up approach and pack some food to snack on.
- 5 carrots
- About 5 stalks of celery and peanut butter
This took less than 5 minutes to prepare – and put into my purse. Not sure why this never entered my mind to do before.
How do you prepare for plane flights? Do you pack food or do you eat what the airport has to offer?
